Shown here are several versions of our mandrel tooling. This type of tooling allows the tube to be punched without the walls deforming. Slots can also be done in this fashion. Dimpled hole punching systems are also available.
Multicyl Linear Rail System MLR
The Multicyl Linear Rail System (MLR) is an extremely versatile system. Standard systems range from 2 to 10 feet in length, however any custom length is available depending on the part being produced. The MLR can be fitted with a wide range of tooling to allow for greater flexibility. Notice the quick center to center adjustment time in the above video.

This fully automated, stand-alone, mandrel punching station punched 29 holes all around the tube with just the press of 2 buttons. The operator only has to load the tube, press the 2 buttons, and the part is ejected automatically.
A rectangular slot was punched into a custom tube without any deformation to the part. Tooling is also available to form and punch tubing in one operation.
